Latest Launch At Growing Aberdeenshire New Town
Major developer and housing provider Places for People has announced the latest launch at Chapelton, a new sustainable town taking shape just eight miles from Aberdeen.
There’s now a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes for sale there with prices starting at £180,000. Like previous homes for sale here, they have been designed to combine desirable period building features with a thoroughly up-to-date specification. Local materials such as slate, granite and stone have been used to pay homage to the established buildings of north-east Scotland. Inside, fitted kitchens, appliances and fixtures and fittings throughout provide a contemporary interior.
Chapelton is the result of a long-term vision to create a new sustainable town. Some 8,000 brand new homes are planned, supplemented by an equal number of job opportunities and served by a host of new amenities. There are plenty of open green spaces, local shops and neighbourhood squares and being only a few miles from Stonehaven and Aberdeen city centre, there are a host of useful and enjoyable things within easy reach.
One of the newly released homes is called the ‘Ardler’ and it is priced from £280,000. With a generous 1,023 sq ft of living space, this semi-detached house has an open-plan kitchen/dining area and a large living room. Upstairs, the master bedroom comes complete with en suite and fitted wardrobes, while the other double bedroom and single bedroom-cum-study share the family bathroom.
For a larger budget, at £355,000, Plot 66 has just been released, a detached house called ‘Duntreath’. There’s a welcoming porch area, a cloakroom, and a large bright living space which has double doors to a well-equipped open-plan kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden. On the first floor, there are two spacious double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Bedroom one includes an en suite shower room a fabulous dressing area. The other tow bedrooms both have fitted wardrobes and share a Jack & Jill en suite. Altogether, 1,307 sq ft of living space, and outside is a single garage.
