Persimmon Homes has released the first properties at Woodland Valley in Rothwell, Northamptonshire.

The development will ultimately provide 700 new build homes on an 82-acre site, along with a new strategic link road to benefit new and existing residents in the town. A selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses are now available, priced from £204,950 for a two-bedroom home with open-plan dining/kitchen leading out into the garden.

Claire Dearsley, sales and marketing director for developer Persimmon Homes, said: “Initial activity has been high at this site, with many people registering their interest in the properties before they were even released for sale. The houses will be surrounded by areas of open space, green corridors and play areas, in keeping with the semi-rural setting.

“We are currently selling Woodland Valley properties from our nearby Cranford Chase development in Barton Seagrave.

“And don’t forget – homes of up to £500,000 in England are now exempt from Stamp Duty meaning there are huge savings to be made. We are also able to offer the government’s Help to Buy scheme, where buyers only need a 5% deposit to secure their ideal property.”

Woodland Valley is situated under a mile from the centre of Rothwell, a quaint, friendly market town with a fascinating mixture of listed buildings and monuments, surrounded by picturesque countryside. Everyday amenities are plentiful in Rothwell and include independent shops, supermarkets, a bank, a Post Office, a library and a health centre. Nearby Kettering and Market Harborough offer a more extensive range of high street retailers and specialist shops, banks and building societies, restaurants, cafés and pubs as well as places to enjoy sport, music and theatre.

Woodland Valley also benefits from a wealth of excellent local schools from infant age up to college. Your children can begin their education at Rothwell’s Victoria Infants School (0.6 miles), then move onto Rothwell Junior School, and then proceed to Montsaye Academy (0.3 miles). Tresham College in Kettering (7.9 miles), offers over 1,000 courses in both full and part-time education for all ages.
