Persimmon Homes launches the very first properties at Whitmore Place on Saturday 19 March...

Much-needed new homes are coming to Coventry next weekend with the launch of a new development by Persimmon Homes on Saturday 19 March.

Whitmore Place on Holbrook Lane is a development of 347 homes on the site of the former factory operated by Meggitt plc. The mix of properties will include two-bedroom apartments, two- and three-bedroom semi-detached and terraced houses, and four-bedroom detached homes. Of those, 73 will be affordable (21%) and four of them will be designated First Homes providing local first-time buyers who meet the criteria with at least a 30% discount on the market price.

Sarah Preston, sales director for Persimmon Homes Central, said: “We are thrilled to finally release for sale our new homes in the popular residential area of Holbrooks. The development is perfect for first-time buyers and families, with a wide variety of stunning homes available. We have already had a huge amount of interest.”

Whitmore Place benefits from a family-friendly setting with easy access via the motorway network to the whole of the Midlands. Just 2.5 miles from Coventry city centre, the new homes at Whitmore Place are within walking distance of local schools, a good range of shops and green open spaces. Construction is well underway on the site, with the first residents likely to move in this summer.

Prices for properties at the launch start from £230,000. Find out more about current Persimmon Homes developments across th West Midlands region.
