Two exclusive collections of new homes in Kent from South East housebuilder Millwood Designer Homes are set to launch onto the property market over the coming months.

Combining quaint village locations with premium quality design and build of which Millwood are renowned, the highly-anticipated developments in Sutton Valance and Broadstairs are set to appeal to a wide range of house-hunters looking for a fresh start in 2022.

Available off-plan imminently, The Nurseries is a select new development of just 18 traditionally-styled new homes set in the historic village of Sutton Valence. The 11 houses offered for private sale will come in a mix of sizes from effortless two-bedroom layouts perfect for first-time buyers looking to step onto the ladder, right up to a luxurious and spacious five-bedroom detached residence, providing the ultimate option for a growing family. Especially ideal for downsizers, there will also be two chalet-style properties available to purchase at The Nurseries, with plush master suites on the ground floor for ease.

Surrounded by the rolling green countryside of the Weald of Kent, The Nurseries is set on the edge of Sutton Valence. Outdoor lovers will be in their element with so many footpaths, woodland and fields on the doorstep, as well as nine golf clubs within a 20 minute drive from the development. Schooling is a draw for families with the distinguished independent school Sutton Valence School in the village, as well as many highly rated educational facilities in Maidstone. The closest rail links are Headcorn Station and Hollingbourne Station, both with direct trains to London in just over an hour.

In March, Millwood will unveil Lanthorne Place in Broadstairs, a delightful coastal collection of homes just moments’ walk from the Kent seafront. The development includes 53 new properties ranging from two- to four-bedroom houses, as well as a collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments, offering something for every type of purchaser. Nine chalet-styled properties will also be available, providing a downstairs master suite ideal for downsizers or purchasers that require easier accessibility.

Lanthorne Place is set just one road back from the sea, while the town’s many pretty bays and beaches are in easy reach, such as Viking Bay, Joss Bay and Stone Bay. But the town has a lot more to offer than just beaches – its growing cultural scene, excellent choice of restaurants and good schools mean there is something for everyone. Keen golfers will be at home with a number of golf courses within easy reach, and for commuters, trains from here into Central London take an hour and twenty minutes.

All of the beautiful new properties at The Nurseries and Lanthorne Place have been individually designed with Millwood’s characteristic approach to timeless architecture in mind, effortlessly blending with the local surroundings. Designer interiors will be carefully finished with light, spacious living areas and a high-quality specification. Many of the properties have a double or single garage, as well as landscaped outdoor spaces.

Philip Brown, sales and marketing director at Millwood Designer Homes, comments: “We are pleased to be starting 2022 with the launch of two exciting new developments in Kent, bringing much needed quality new homes to the county. Building on our experience and expertise of developing new homes in the area, we have an in-depth understanding of what local buyers are seeking. What can be guaranteed at both The Nurseries and Lanthorne Place is a fabulous quality of life. The developments will be carefully crafted to create their own unique sense of place offering community, convenience and comfort.”
