Miller Homes has professionally fitted and decorated a 'Crawford' house type for the first time at Green Park Gardens...

With over 70% of the homes already sold at its Green Park Gardens development in the popular Bellshill area of North Lanarkshire, Miller Homes is enticing house-hunters to a brand new ‘Crawford’ show home, a first of its kind in Scotland, launching on Saturday 27 March.

Three three-bedroom house type has been brought to life by interior designer Eileen Kesson of Envision Interiors. She said: "I was inspired by the idea of a young family beginning their new adventure in the home. The overall concept was to create a look that combined a bold and distinctive interior design with a streamlined approach. We created a Scandinavian-inspired colour palette of chalky white, slate blue, soft grey and warm oak throughout, with pops of champagne and bronze.”

Upon entering the ‘Crawford’, buyers are greeted with an airy central hallway leading to a spectacular family lounge. This space extends to the full length of the house and is flooded with natural light, thanks to its dual-aspect windows. Designed with minimalism in mind, the windows frame a statement fireplace with integrated TV. The room is dressed in shades of warm white, champagne and grey, and the combination of subtle downlighting and stylish statement lamps creates a soft, open and ambient feel.

Across the hallway from the lounge sits the open kitchen and dining space, the hub of the home and a perfect place to gather together. The bright and airy kitchen, fitted with glossy white units, has plenty of room for the family dining table, which sits against a backdrop of rich blue walls with a statement mirror. The French doors out onto the garden create additional light and space for the whole family to enjoy, framed in filmy voile curtains to let in diffused light throughout the day.

As a bonus, a dedicated laundry room sits just off the dining space, clad in striking blue wallpaper and with plenty of useful storage; plus, there's a downstairs WC located in the hallway too.

The 'Crawford'The entire ground floor uses a polished warm blonde oak herringbone floor throughout, which bounces light around the home and creates a timeless finish. The space feels refreshing and soothing, the ideal backdrop to a busy family life.

Upstairs, the ‘Crawford’ offers three bedrooms, including one with an en suite, and a modern family bathroom, decorated in striking crackle-effect grey wallpaper, complete with sleek fittings. The gorgeous principal bedroom offers hotel-style luxury at home, with built-in wardrobes and an en suite shower room. A champagne and navy geometric feature wall makes a statement, while opulent bronze drop-down pendants at the bedsides finish the decadent design.

The second and third bedrooms are perfectly suited to a growing family's needs and can be adapted for a variety of uses as time goes on. The third bedroom, also painted in rich blue, is presented as a home office, showcasing the versatility of the home.

Buyers interested in setting up home at Green Park Gardens are encouraged to act quickly, with only 15 homes remaining for sale. Located just a mile from Bellshill's vibrant town centre, within easy reach of Strathclyde Country Park, this development combines leafy surroundings and excellent local amenities on the doorstep with great road and rail links.
