Peace Of Mind For Buyers At Fordingbridge Development
Metis Homes has launched its ‘Time to Move’ campaign at its flagship Forest Edge development in Fordingbridge, providing extra peace of mind for purchasers who are seeking a new home.
The event will be held on Saturday 7 October, and will feature a team of experts on hand, including independent financial advisors from TM Financial Solutions, conveyancing specialists from TMT Legal Services and Move+ an agency who can provide information about assisted move and part exchange schemes. Potential buyers will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive free and impartial practical advice about buying a new home.
Metis Homes is keen to illustrate the financial benefits of buying, rather than renting in the current market, as well as the advantages of either upsizing or downsizing. With experts all in one place it offers the opportunity for purchasers to present the challenges they might be facing which can be discussed and addressed.
David Oakley, sales and marketing director at Metis Homes, says: “The current housing market is daunting for some, with a challenging picture being painted in the media, which can make it tougher for those wanting to move to make informed decisions. At Metis Homes, we want to help buyers figure out whether now is the right time to move, and if one of our new homes could be a viable option. As well as the event, we have now launched an online portal on our website, with an FAQ section and further information. When you decide to purchase a Metis home, we will support you throughout the process and put together a Move-In package that suits individual circumstances. We are currently offering savings of up to £25,000 when you reserve your new home at our Forest Edge development.”
The ‘Time To Move’ campaign also informs purchasers what incentives they could qualify for, what to expect when purchasing a Metis product, and how the incentives might overcome some of their worries when buying a new home. For example, if a purchaser is concerned about the total cost of moving, Metis Homes can offer a contribution towards Stamp Duty.
Metis Homes may also offer a contribution towards a buyers deposit, as well as other contributions, including a Monthly Mortgage Contribution, or a furniture package to furnish the new home, and an Electric Car Contribution to enable buyers to buy an electric car to make use of the electric vehicle charging point, which comes as standard with every new Metis home.
A brand new Metis Home also comes with a number of other perks as standard, including low energy appliances, Karndean flooring and carpets included throughout, Neff cooking appliances, and a 10 year build warranty.
Metis Homes’ Forest Edge development, where the event will take place, offers several of the initiatives outlined in the ‘Time To Move’ campaign. The £21.5m scheme, where 50% of the homes have already been sold, is located on the outskirts of the picturesque riverside town of Fordingbridge, at the northern gateway to the New Forest. There are a total of 63 homes being built at Forest Edge, with the first homes already occupied. There is a show home available to view on site, which is a spacious three-bedroom house in The Elm design, with contemporary interiors styled by In House Design Co.
A range of two-bedroom houses, priced from £340,000, three-bedroom homes from £425,000 and four-bedroom detached family homes priced from £635,000, are currently on release, in advance of build completion dates scheduled for autumn 2023. A selection of phase two homes are now also released for sale.
