McCarthy Stone is inviting Redditch retirees to its Milward Place Retirement Living development on Friday 23 July for an afternoon of live music and fizz.

All are welcome to join the McCarthy Stone team and Milward Place homeowners from 12.00noon to 3.00pm, where they can enjoy a relaxing afternoon of live entertainment courtesy of Midlands’ musician, Sean Duggan, along with a refreshing glass or two of fizz and summer strawberries. Guests will also be able to find out more about retirement living and tour the show complex.

Cheryl Bissett, divisional sales and marketing director for McCarthy Stone, said: “The summer months are finally here and this year they have brought with them a renewed sense of freedom and optimism. We wanted to capture this at Milward Place and host an event where we could take the opportunity to welcome the wider community back to our development for a long-awaited celebration and our first live music event in a long time.

“We’re all looking forward to opening our doors to the people of Redditch on 23rd July for an afternoon of fantastic music and brilliant company. It’s set to be great fun so we encourage everyone to join us and find out more about our thriving community and the lifestyle on offer. One-to-one tours of our stunning show complex and remaining properties can also be arranged for those looking to explore all the charm Milward Place has to offer.”

Exclusively for the over-60s, Milward Place lets you live independently and choose your own pace of life, while knowing there’s always someone to share a coffee or a glass of wine with in the homeowners’ lounge or taking part in the events and activities on offer each week.

For peace-of-mind, there is a 24-hour emergency call system in place to provide emergency assistance should it ever be needed, and there are video entry systems to all apartments. A house manager is also available during office hours to oversee the day-to-day running of the development, and to help with anything you might need to enjoy the independence of your new home.

Situated just outside Redditch’s vibrant city centre, Milward Place allows you to take advantage of the impressive range of shops, restaurants and entertainment just a short journey away. Popular nearby attractions include Forge Mill Needle Museum, Arrow Valley Lake Country Park and Church Green. The Kingfisher Shopping Centre is also easily accessible with a choice of leading brand retailers and department stores.

Purchase prices at Milward Place currently start from £139,950 for a one-bedroom apartment, whilst rental prices currently start from £1,020 pcm (including service charge). There is also a Shared Ownership option.
