McCarthy Stone is inviting retirees to make the most of a first opportunity to reserve an apartment at its Lionheart Court Retirement Living development in Waltham Abbey at a launch event on Friday 28 May.

Priority one-to-one socially-distanced appointments are now being booked for the exclusive sales release event. Which is taking place at Waltham Abbey Marriott Hotel on Old Shire Lane from 10.30am to 4.00pm.

The event will be managed in a Covid-secure way and in accordance with government guidelines – as such, appointments are limited. All those who attend will receive an information pack containing a brochure, floor plans, prices, and service charges details, they will also be among the first to reserve their chosen apartment at Lionheart Court off-plan. Construction is currently underway at the development on Sewardstone Road and first occupations are expected to take place in autumn 2021.

Julie Ward, national sales director for WhatHouse? Awards-winning McCarthy Stone, said: “We’re very excited to announce that the wait is very nearly over for Essex retirees, and we are taking reservations for the new apartments at Lionheart Court.

Lionheart Court“We’re very proud of the new Retirement Living communities we create and the many benefits they bring for today’s retirees. Whether people are looking for an independent, low-maintenance lifestyle with more time to do the things they enjoy or have always wanted to try, or they are looking for the comfort that comes with being surrounded by like-minded individuals and having a friendly face on-hand throughout the day – Lionheart Court will more than meet their needs.

“The challenges so many of us have faced over the last year or so have undoubtedly made many people reassess their housing needs, and we expect to experience high levels of demand for the apartments at Lionheart Court. I would therefore urge interested purchasers to get in touch and book a one-to-one appointment – these are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.”

Situated on Sewardstone Road in Waltham Abbey, Lionheart Court will feature a welcoming homeowners’ lounge, ideal for socialising with friends, together with landscaped gardens, and a hotel-style guest suite should homeowners have friends or relatives to stay. A friendly house manager will oversee the development day-to-day and a secure entry system and 24-hour call points in every apartment will provide added peace-of-mind.

Lionheart Court is a short distance away from The River Lee Country Park, Epping Forest District Museum, West Essex Golf Club as well as a Tesco Superstore, and a number of independent shops and restaurants just a stone’s throw from the development.

More than nine out of 10 customers would recommend McCarthy Stone to a friend, ensuring it has received the full five-star award for customer satisfaction from the Home Builders Federation for 16 years’ running.
