New Taunton Retirement Community Officially Opens

Councillor Lees cut the ribbon to launch celebrations at Kingfisher Court, a Retirement Living Plus development for over-70s in South Street by McCarthy Stone
Attendees were able to ‘Taste the Lifestyle’ that can be lived at a McCarthy Stone development, with complimentary lunch from the on-site bistro and entertainment from Scarlet Swing who performed vintage classics. Attendees enjoyed a glass of fizz, and many of the visitors were able to take the chance to tour the development where an enviable retirement lifestyle is on offer, pairing top-quality homes with maximum independence and personalised support where needed.
Councillor Lees commented: “Kingfisher Court has already burgeoned into a thriving and welcoming community, and it was an honour to play a part in its official opening – I wish all current and future homeowners every happiness in their new homes!”
