Posted 29 April 2022 by Keith Osborne

There's a special event taking place where visitors may be given tickets to visit historic Hatfield House...

By attending an upcoming event on Friday 6 May at a growing new retirement development in Hatfield, visitors may enter a competition with the reward a free day pass to one of the town’s most renowned and grandest homes, Hatfield House.

McCarthy Stone’s Highclere House development is situated on Great North Road and from 2.00pm to 4.00pm on Friday 7 May it is hosting an afternoon of Cheese & Wine for the local community. Homeowners who already call Highclere House a home will be joined by retirees from across the county and guests from the wider community will have the chance to view the luxurious development and a limited number of tickets to local landmark, Hatfield House, will also be given away to six lucky visitors.

Sam Watkins, divisional sales director for McCarthy Stone, said: “Highclere House has proved to be incredibly popular with residents since our opening, it has been a real success story. Each individual apartment has been carefully designed to enable discerning retirees to downsize without comprise; and with a lively community and a wonderful location, homeowners at Highclere House can enjoy easy access to a host of local amenities.

A dedicated house manager takes care of the day-to-day running of the development, while a secure entry system and 24-hour emergency call points will provide added peace-of-mind.
