Retirees In Ripon Celebrate First Birthday

Keith OsborneA group of retirees in Ripon got together last week to celebrate their first birthday, marking 12 months since they moved into Dawson Grange, a McCarthy Stone Retirement Living complex on North Street.
One of the first social events at Dawson Grange in many months, the party was called to mark the beginning of ‘better times ahead’ for all the homeowners that now live there. Prosecco was not in short supply and there was plenty of birthday cake to go around as its residents joined together to say a special thanks to all those in their new community who supported one another through the hard times.
Exclusively for the over-60s, Dawson Grange is a vibrant development, featuring a collection of low- maintenance, privately owned apartments. Homeowners can make the most of their independence while also having the peace of mind that comes with being surrounded by like-minded individuals.
