New Whitley Bay Development In High Demand

Local retirees were out in force as over 100 visitors attended the Village Hotel Newcastle to be amongst the first to reserve their apartment at Elderton Place, the Retirement Living Plus development, coming soon to Whitley Bay.

Members of the public joined the McCarthy Stone team to find out more about the upcoming development on Coquet Avenue, which is currently selling off-plan. In addition to being able to look at plans and apartment specifications, typical interior finishes, and fittings, attendees were also able to discover more about the range of flexible purchasing opportunities which will be available.  

Once complete, Elderton Place will comprise 37 one-bedroom and 28 two-bedroom apartments, with the first occupants expected in September 2022. The Whitley Bay development will provide everything the over 70s could want for an enjoyable and independent retirement. Bridging the gap between conventional retirement living and residential care, an estate manager and their experienced team will be on hand 24hrs a day to oversee the running of the development and will also provide tailored support packages to suit individual needs.

The development will feature a large communal lounge - perfect for getting to know new neighbours - as well as an on-site licenced bistro, which will serve fresh and nutritious meal options daily.

Prices at Elderton Place currently start from £219,999, for those who want to purchase outright. Rental and part-buy part-rent options are due to be released in June 2022.
