Buyer Event Taking Place At Suffolk Retirement Development
Retirees from in and around Suffolk are being invited to learn more about the independent lifestyle on offer at Squadron House, a new local retirement community in Martlesham Heath, as part of a special Discovery Day event on Thursday 15 June.
Currently under construction on Eagle Way, Squadron House is a Retirement Living development by multiple WhatHouse? Award-winners McCarthy Stone. The apartments will be available to reserve off-plan in Autumn 2023, ready to move into in Spring 2024.
There will be two presentations taking place during the Discovery Day which will start at 10.45am and 2.15pm. The presentations at the Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel in Melton, Woodbridge, will offer attendees an insight into the facilities and services available at the new development. Once complete, Squadron House will feature 29 one- and 12 two-bedroom luxury apartments for the over-60s, many of which will have private balconies or patios.
Due to the early popularity of Squadron House, a second presentation has been added for those who would prefer an afternoon visit. A team of experts will also be on hand throughout the day to answer questions about moving services and flexible purchasing options available.
The event is free to attend, and friends and family are welcome too – places should be booked in advance by calling 0800 201 4384.
David Meachem, divisional sales director at McCarthy Stone, comments: “Squadron House is already attracting substantial interest from retirees seeking to downsize and enjoy a high-quality retirement home in the lovely village of Martlesham Heath.
“The Discovery Day will be a fantastic opportunity to delve deeper into the unique McCarthy Stone brand of retirement living on offer. We urge anyone interested to get in touch and book a place at this event to find out more.”
Once complete, Squadron House will have an array of on-site facilities including a communal lounge and attractive landscaped gardens, which will play host to regular events and offer opportunities for retirees to socialise together. A house manager will also be on-site at the development to keep everything running smoothly, with a 24/7 camera system also in place for extra security and provide added peace of mind. Friends and family can enjoy an overnight stay in the hotel-style guest suite.
