Baking Star At Edgbaston Retirement Relaunch
Local retirees are invited to join star of The Great British Bake Off and baking expert, Val Stones, at McCarthy Stone’s Ryland Place Retirement Living Plus development in Edgbaston on Thursday 19 August, as she leads a summer celebration.
Known as the ‘Cake Whisperer’, Val has been at the helm of the kitchen for over 50 years and after appearing on The Great British Bake Off in 2016, has made it her mission to share her tips and love of baking ever since.
The exciting event will take place at the development on Norfolk Road from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. Guests will be able to see Val in action, sample some of her delicious bakes witness her create one of her signature showstoppers and also have the opportunity to ask the baking star their own queries and get their picture taken with her.
Situated on Norfolk Road in Edgbaston, Ryland Place comprises a selection of one- and two-bedroom Retirement Living Plus apartments, exclusively designed for people aged 70 and over.
