Two-Bedroom Houses Released In Boughton

Martin Grant Homes has just launched a range of two-bedroom properties at its Buckton Fields development in Boughton, just outside of Northampton.

Now that the Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme is only available if all the buyers of a property have never owned any kind of a home before, there is increasing demand for higher loan-to-value mortgages on new homes from those who don’t qualify for government help. Fortunately, this month major lenders Lloyds Bank and Halifax announced that they were increasing their LTV on new build houses from 85% to 90%, making it easier for second-steppers and couples where only one is a first-time buyer to finance a property purchase.

The new mortgages are available on loans of up to £570,000 – but there’s no need for buyers to stretch themselves that far to get a comfortable and practical new home, with the latest properties at Buckton Fields starting from just £250,000 for a spacious, open-plan two-bedroom house. Larger properties, including three-bedroom houses from £295,000 and four-bedroom detached homes starting from £420,000, are also available at the development, which is four miles from the town centre.
