Luxury new homes coming to Gerrards Cross this weekend

Award-winning Spitfire Bespoke Homes is launching a brand new collection of luxury homes in one of Buckinghamshire' prime residential locations...

WhatHouse? Awards winner Spitfire Bespoke Homes is launching a brand new boutique development of just seven luxury homes in Gerrards Cross this Saturday 1 October.

Glade in The Spinney is a collection of individual five-bedroom, four-bathroom detached properties of over 3,000 sq ft set over three storeys from a company that won Silver for Best Small Housebuilder at the WhatHouse? Awards 2015. Glade is an extension to The Spinney, a gated cul-de-sac off Dukes Wood Drive, a sought-after and quiet private road in the popular Buckinghamshire town, which has seen a 6% rise in property sales prices in the last year.

With each home having its own unique external design, there is a common standard to build quality and the layout and interior specification. A large kitchen/breakfast/family room is the hub of each house, with a bespoke kitchen of high-gloss cabinets and quartz-composite worktops, furnished with a range of integrated Siemens and Gaggenau appliances. There are a number of reception rooms to offer flexibility for privacy or entertaining.

The master bedroom suites have the luxury of separate dressing areas and en suite bathrooms, with three further bedrooms on the first floor and a fifth bedroom on the top floor, supplemented by a leisure room in some homes.Interiors details have been designed with the consultation of award-winning designers Alexander James Interiors, while the properties are completed by mature, landscaped gardens and an integrated double garage. One property also has a separate guest suite above its garage.

Prices are expected to start from £1.795m at this development.

Richard Page, sales and marketing director for Spitfire Bespoke Homes, says: “Gerrards Cross is one of South Buckinghamshire’s top super-suburbs, an established commuter zone known for its prestigious properties that will always be particularly sought after. The value gap between property prices in London and the commuter zone remains large and that is a key factor for purchasers who can get far more for their money outside of the capital.

“While it may be too early to say what effect Brexit will have on the property market, we feel that prime Home Counties properties are likely to be less vulnerable to Brexit uncertainty than those in central London.”

“The properties at Glade in The Spinney represent prime examples of the outstanding level of property that is in demand in Gerrards Cross and we are pleased to bring to market a collection of homes that combine an excellent location with the best in design and specification.”

Glade in The Spinney is set on a gated, private road just five minutes’ drive from the town’s station, with its frequent fast trains into London, and ten minutes from the A40/M40.

The area is well known for its golf and leisure clubs and for a range of excellent state and private schools, such as Dr Challoner’s in Amersham and Little Chalfont Grammar.
