The homes at The Acorns can also be purchased using a range of home-buying schemes, including Lovell Homes’ Helping Hands scheme, which works as an assisted move, where buyers can avoid paying expensive estate agents’ fees. The housebuilder’s bespoke NHS Emergency Services and Armed Forces scheme provides eligible individuals with a £500 discount for every £25,000 spent, alongside free flooring up to the value of £3,000, making the home moving process that little bit easier for vital workers.
First-time buyers will be able to make a move to The Acorns using the new government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, using just a 5% deposit. The remaining amount is made up of a 75% mortgage and a 20% equity loan, which is interest free for the first five years. The new scheme will see regional price caps brought into effect, with the scheme available on homes in the East of England priced up to £407,400.
