‘Spooky Season’ Launch Of Wetherby Show Home

Posted 21 October 2021 by Keith Osborne

Local schoolchildren have helped Lovell Homes find a suitable theme for its just-launched show house at Blossomfield...

Lovell Homes has opened the doors to a brand new show home at its Blossomfield development – located in Thorp Arch, Wetherby – after collaborating with local schoolchildren to get the site ready for Halloween.

As part of preparations for the launch, children from nearby Crossley Street Primary School decorated over 100 pumpkins with some spectacularly spooky designs, which were then put in pride of place in the show homes ready for launch day on Saturday 16 October.

Colette Ben Tarcha, regional sales director at Lovell, said: “We’ve been incredibly impressed by the children’s creative range of pumpkins designs, which I’ve no doubt will be the topic of many conversations while our prospective homeowners explore the show homes. As we’re approaching Halloween, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to collaborate with a local school to bring that all-important sense of community to Blossomfield.

“Blossomfield really is a special site, it’s been so exciting seeing everything come together ahead of our launch weekend and we can’t wait to welcome potential buyers through the doors.”

Hayley Cohn, before- and after-school club leader at Crossley Street Primary School, said: “We were delighted to have been involved with the Blossomfield show home launch. Not only has it been lovely to watch the children get creative designing their own faux pumpkins, it’s given us the opportunity to make them even more aware of what’s happening in their local area.

Blossomfield“Knowing that their work is going to be on display for potential new homeowners has made it that little bit more special as well and we’d like to thank Lovell for letting us get involved in this next step for the development.”

Combining contemporary design with rigorous build quality, the homes have been created with modern living in mind and feature elements such as open plan kitchen and dining areas and spacious rear gardens.

The development also boasts excellent transport links to local amenities and services, meaning homeowners can easily be transported to the buzzing social scene in Thorp Arch, or over the River Wharfe to the architectural elegance at Boston Spa, with its thriving independent high street. Just three miles away in Wetherby, you’ll find champion floral displays, farmer’s markets, and more.

The marketing suite and show home opening hours are Thursday to Monday, from 10.00am to 5.00pm, currently by appointment only. Prices start at £315,000. Find out more about Blossomfield from Lovell Homes.
