Third Phase Of Major Derby Development Unveiled
The next chapter has begun at one of Derby’s largest housing developments with the unveiling of Phase 3 at Castleward, where Lovell Homes is creating 800 homes under the Compendium Living developer brand in a joint venture with The Riverside Group.
With both previous phases being fully sold, the latest phase provides 82 more new homes including one- and two-bedroom apartments and maisonettes. Prices range from £170,000 to £250,000 for ‘early bird’ purchasers.
Located between the popular Derbion shopping centre and mainline Derby Midland station, which is just a short 15-minute walk away, the development includes green space, some commercial retail space, a new £7million 315-place school and a 39-place nursery.
Lisa Preston, regional sales director at Lovell, said: “Castleward is a highly significant scheme that represents our commitment to the region, and to the overall creation of much-needed, mixed tenures homes. Developed in an area of the city that was underused, we have been able to gradually transform this space into a new community and unlock the potential of the space.
“It will be fantastic to welcome people to see the completed phases and the current third chapter at Castleward, so they can experience first-hand the fantastic investment opportunity on offer. For anyone interested in the homes on offer the Compendium Living sales team will be more than happy to provide more details on the homes.”
Bruce Lister, managing director at Compendium Living, said: “The third phase of this exciting regeneration scheme will create fantastic places for residents to call home, with a host of local amenities and open spaces on their doorstep. We can’t wait to welcome buyers into their brand new homes, and hope that interested property seekers enjoy viewing the site.”
