WhatHouse? Award-winning developer Lovell Homes hosted a Summer Family Fun Day event at its Royal Victoria Court development in Newport.

The event was designed to share information and advice on mortgages and Help to Buy Wales, and prospective buyers and existing residents also had the chance to meet Leo the llama and his alpaca pals.

Royal Victoria Court is located off Cardiff Road, on the site of the former Whiteheads steelworks, and consists of a collection of 264 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and one- and two-bedroom apartments.

At the event, Leo the llama and his alpaca pals, baby Nigel and Trifle, were present to welcome prospective buyers to the development and entertain the children, while their parents met with the Lovell sales team and independent mortgage advisors from ABP Mortgages, to receive free, impartial advice on all things mortgages and Help to Buy Wales.

At Lovell Homes, we put great care into the design and build of our properties to make sure that future residents can be proud to call them home.
