First Homes Go On Sale At New Bishops Cleeve Scheme
Linden Homes has released the first homes for sale at a new development in Bishops Cleeve. The developer is building 65 new homes at Woodland View, off Gotherington Lane in the village.
The new homes being delivered at the Homelands Farm site include 39 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses for private sale and 26 affordable properties available for local people.
Charles Bond, sales manager for Vistry Cotswolds, said: “Woodland View is ideally placed right on the north-western edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes. We’ve had lots of interest in the development so far, and it will not be too long before we can begin welcoming the first residents onto the site and see a brand-new community start to take shape.”
As part of the planning agreement, the developer is to contribute more than £800,000 into local services such as primary education, secondary education, pre-school education, library services and Tewkesbury Borough Council’s recycling and waste services.
Bond said: “At Vistry Cotswolds, we have a strong bond with the community in Bishops Cleeve, where our headquarters are also located. We are always looking to support the community, most recently donating £500 to sponsor new kit for the Gotherington Juniors Jaguars U7s girls team. This ongoing commitment to the village is reinforced by our plans to create a vibrant new neighbourhood at Woodland View.”
Linden Homes has full planning permission for the 65 homes and has also received outline permission for a 2,000-sqm employment zone within the Homelands Farm site.
There’s a range of three- and four-bedroom homes now available to reserve at Woodland View, with prices starting from £310,000. Find out more at lindenhomes.co.uk.
