New Show Home Opens In Brampton

A new show home has been unveiled in Brampton as work starts on the second phase of a new housing development in the village.

Linden Homes, which is part of the newly formed Vistry Group, has opened a new four-bedroom ‘Kempthorne’ show house and sales office at its Brampton Park development. The development comprises 219 homes across two phases within a wider new neighbourhood on the former RAF Brampton site.

The second phase will provide a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses, adjacent to the neighbourhood’s large area of public open space.

Hannah Dorner, sales manager at Linden Homes East Midlands, said: “The choice of homes we are building at Brampton Park ensures there is something to suit all lifestyles and budgets, with a range of incentives available to help people to secure their home.

“We’ve seen a great deal of interest here from second steppers using the government’s Help to Buy scheme, before it is limited to first-time buyers from the end of March next year. The scheme means people just need a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage to secure a new home, with a 20% equity loan – interest free for the first five years – making up the total amount.

“We’re also seeing customers acting now to take advantage of the temporary Stamp Duty holiday, which is saving people thousands on the cost of moving.”

The Chancellor announced this summer that Stamp Duty will not be charged on property purchases up to the value of £500,000 until the end of March next year.

Linden Homes also offers a Key Worker Package, which entitles eligible purchasers classed as essential workers during the Covid-19 outbreak to £500 off every £25,000 spent on a new Linden home and a flooring contribution up to the value of £3,000.

There’s currently a range of new homes available to reserve at Brampton Park, including three- and four-bedroom houses priced from £300,000 and £370,000 respectively.
