Latimer, part of Clarion Housing Group, has released the first CGI images of The Boulevard, its development on Blackfriars Road, Southwark that will bring 43 luxury apartments and penthouses to the popular London Borough of Southwark.

The location is considered “one of London’s only true boulevards” in an historic part of the capital. Due for completion in Spring 2021, the site incorporates a selection of one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes available for sale, all of which benefit from private outdoor space and a concierge service. With prices starting at £685,000.

The BoulevardSales manager Natasha Tull from Latimer said: “We’re pleased to have already secured a number of reservations from domestic and international buyers, especially as the property market gains momentum again post lockdown.

“With each of the homes at The Boulevard benefitting from private outdoor space, off the back of many Londoners relying on public spaces to access during lockdown, we expect this and the amazing location to be a huge draw for homebuyers and investors alike as the perfect place to live and work.

“This development is situated on one of London’s only true boulevards, and as such we’ve really looked to incorporate this element into the design and interior of the build. This is especially reflected in the spectacular communal roof terraces and the art deco style design planned for the lobby, which captures the cosmopolitan essence of the area.”

The BoulevardEach home is designed to the highest specification, with comfort and luxury in mind and maximising natural light. Quality fittings, unique craftsmanship and bespoke finishes will feature throughout, with ample space for homeowners to socialise and entertain.

CBRE Residential is the selling agent for the development and for investors, notes that the average yields for the scheme are anticipated to be 3.65%.

Matthew Abernethy, associate director at CBRE, commented: “House price growth in London typically outstrips the rest of the country over time. The potential aftereffects of the pandemic have focused people’s minds on quality and location as key to capital growth and good rental yields. The Boulevard is in a great location for central London. Due to the proximity to universities and the business districts in The City and Canary Wharf, The Boulevard is attracting interest from buyers wanting to be closer to work, including those who want to walk to the office, as well as appealing to investors looking for properties in areas with high demand for rentals. It’s also a location that supports a fantastic lifestyle outside of work, as living on Blackfriars Road also puts you in easy reach of London’s abundant culture and restaurants.”
