Housebuilder’s Financial Offer At New Derbyshire Development
Jones Homes is running a special scheme that will potentially save buyers thousands of pounds when moving into a brand new home at Van Dyk Village in north-east Derbyshire.
The Home Mover Scheme, available on selected plots at the development, sees the housebuilder contributing to the purchaser’s deposit and the moving costs, both considerable expenses when buying a new home. It may bring one of the new homes within budget, or free up some money for upgrades or some new furnishings and decoration on moving in.
Van Dyk Village is taking shape in Clowne, well under half-an-hour from Chesterfield, Worksop, Mansfield and Sheffield. The development will comprise of a variety of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes. With exclusive house types from Jones Homes’ Signature Collection, the development has been designed with a luxurious styling of streetscapes of both natural and artificial stone alongside a blend of traditional brick colours and render, giving each home its own ‘one-off’ character, rather than being exactly the same as its neighbour. It’s a low-density site too, with generous private gardens and extensive public green spaces.
Right now there are just a few five-bedroom homes on release at Van Dyk Village, with prices starting at £629,995 for ‘The Connaught II’ house type. On entering the hallway, there’s a dedicated, bay-windowed study to one side – an essential for many home-workers today. There’s real flexibility with two reception rooms that can function as living room (with bi-fold door to the rear garden) or a dining room, but the hub of the home will be the extensive, open-plan kitchen/family room which has a fully glazed garden room at the rear, which will ‘bring the outside in’ with bi-fold door to the patio. There’s a utility room that links the kitchen to the integral double garage. Upstairs, bedrooms one and two both have a dressing area and en suite, while the other three bedrooms share a four-piece family bathroom.
From £634,995 is ‘The Kew’. This double-fronted house has a study and a dining room, both with bay windows, at the front, and a living room with bi-fold door to the rear garden also off the hallway. At the rear is a very spacious, double-aspect kitchen/family/dining room with access to the rear garden and to the utility room, through which are the -cloakroom and double garage. On the first floor, two bedrooms come with an en suite shower room, while there are three further bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath and walk-in shower.
Also from £634,995 is ‘The Knightsbridge II’ double-fronted house type. This too has bay windows to the study and to the dining room, with a separate double-aspect living having bi-fold door to the garden. There’s also a fully glazed garden room as an extension to the kitchen/family room. Downstairs is also home to a cloakroom, utility room. Upstairs the two largest bedrooms have their own en suite shower rooms, and there are three more bedrooms and a family bathroom to complete the first floor. This home comes with a detached double garage.
Standard to each home are a fully fitted Symphony kitchen, choice of quartz worktops, a full range of appliances including a wine cooler, Hansgrohe fittings, high-quality white sanitaryware, fitted wardrobes to bedrooms one and two and the security of a burglar alarm and CCTV.
With a rich history spanning over 5,000 years, the area around Van Dyk Village is also thoroughly up-to-date with the well-served village of Clowne, with its range of shops, places to eat and drink, amenities and schools. The high street is little more than a mile away from home, just three minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.
The M1 is only a few minutes’ drive away, and it’s around 20 minutes to the M18 and A1. The surrounding towns and Sheffield offer many rail services for regional and national destinations.
House-hunters are invited to make an appointment for a personal visit and viewing, and are welcome to ask the Jones Homes sales team about its Agency Assist scheme, where the company takes away a lot of the strain and expense of the traditional property chain. For those looking at three- and four-bedroom properties it is expected that these will be released later this year.
