Easter Open House Event At Lenham Development
Jones Homes is preparing to release the final homes for sale at a new development in Lenham, where construction work is almost two-thirds complete.
There are 12 homes left to be sold at Westwood Park, where Jones Homes is hosting an open house event over the Easter weekend from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
The developer has finished construction on 50 of the 70 homes at Westwood Park, located off Ham Lane, which, when complete, will comprise 42 private properties and 28 affordable homes available through rent or Shared Ownership.
Sara Stanhope, sales and marketing director for Jones Homes Southern, said: “Construction is progressing well at Westwood Park, and we are expecting to finish construction work this October.
“Ever since the first residents moved into their new homes here at the end of 2020, a lovely community has started to form at the development. Westwood Park has been extremely popular with a range of buyers, including those keen to move into a more energy-efficient home as the cost of living continues to rise. That, paired with the fact that we have released homes for sale that will be ready to move into straightaway, chain and hassle free, we’re anticipating an influx of demand for these final remaining homes.”
As part of the planning agreement for Westwood Park, Jones Homes is providing funding of £290,000 for local services. Contributions include £140,000 for primary school places, £60,000 towards the creation of green open space, and £55,000 for healthcare.
Construction work began at Westwood Park in the summer of 2019 and the first residents moved into their new homes in October 2020.
Visitors over the Easter weekend will be able to discover the four- and five-bedroom house types now available at Westwood Park, explore the new development and benefit from incentives including Jones Homes contributing up to £1,000 toward legal fees.
