Inland Homes has announced the off-plan launch of a new collection of homes in the heart of Uxbridge in west London.

Randalls is set on the site of the renowned Grade II listed Randalls department store and has been designed to combine a fusion of new and old architecture, and the end of the month will be the first opportunity for keen buyers to reserve a plot off-plan. There are 14 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments in the converted iconic art deco style building once complete, as well as 35 one- and two-bedroom new build apartments. Dalloway House is the first new build block to launch, with first completions anticipated for summer 2021.

Before its close in 2015, Randalls was a family-owned British department store that served the Uxbridge community for 123 years, surviving both World Wars and the Great Depression. The store was also used as a filming location for a number of feature films and television shows, including Only Fools and Horses (1983), Endeavour (2014), Twisted Nerve (1968) and Victim (1961).

Vicki Noon, sales and marketing director at Inland Homes, commented: “We are excited to be launching our first homes at Randalls off-plan this October. This site has been highly anticipated, especially by those in the local Uxbridge area, and we are thrilled to showcase the first new build apartments available within this unique historic location within the heart of the town centre. We encourage all interested buyers for both the new build and converted apartments, which will be released in 2021, to register their interest and book a private viewing as soon as possible.”

All apartments at Randalls, both new build and renovated, will be ideal for singles, couples and downsizers. The first collection of released apartments provide open-plan living and dining areas and designer bedrooms. Kitchens come complete with slimline worktops and a range of integrated appliances including a stainless steel oven and induction hob, 70/30 fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Bathrooms include white sanitaryware with chrome accessories including a chrome ladder style towel rail and quartz shelves. All apartments come with underfloor heating.

The commuter town of Uxbridge has a bustling high street, two shopping centres and a plethora of leisure facilities on the doorstep. The familiar intu mall is located in the centre of the town offering a range of well-known retailers and chain restaurants, as well as west London’s only IMAX cinema, while the smaller Pavilions Shopping Centre is home to a selection of coffee shops, bistros and even more high street stores, as well as a weekly indoor craft market that takes place every Wednesday.

Uxbridge also has a lively social scene, with a selection of cocktail bars and pubs on offer, and there’s plenty of green and blue space for residents to escape to as well, with Long Meadow and River Pinn connects walkers to the picturesque Hillingdon Trail, passing through a variety of woods, fields, meadows, parks and open spaces. Residents can also enjoy the scenic views at some of the many nearby lakes and rivers with a pleasant stroll along Grand Union canal, River Colne, River Pinn or Fray’s River. Hillingdon is actually London’s ‘greenest’ borough.

Those who need to travel for work or pleasure will be well placed at Randalls. Located just inside the M25, with the M4 and M40 also close by, residents will have easy access to London, the South and the rest of the country via the motorway networks. For city workers, Uxbridge Underground station is just moments from Randalls where the Metropolitan and Piccadilly line services can be picked up, and nearby West Drayton station offers overland services into the capital, with the introduction of Crossrail connections from 2022. For international travel, Heathrow Airport is just 16-minute drive away, with flights to over 185 destinations.
