Lincolnshire New Homes Available Through Home Reach

Keith OsborneHouse-hunters in Lincolnshire who have only a modest budget can still make their dream of homeownership come true thanks to the popular Home Reach scheme, which allows them to ‘part buy-part rent’ a high-quality brand new home and is currently available at developments in the county.
Buyers who meet the eligibility criteria for Home Reach have an opportunity to purchase a share of a new build home (usually, but not always, between 50% and 75%) and pay a subsidised rent on the remainder, with housing provider heylo as the landlord. The scheme is offered on selected plots at developments across England and provides all the benefits of homeownership but requires a much smaller deposit (5% of the share price) and a smaller mortgage than when purchasing outright. Over time, owners can buy further shares as their budget allows, until they own 100%.
Tudor Reach is located in Kirton in Lindsey, around 11 miles from Gainsborough and ten miles from Scunthorpe. It’s a small market town which has a lot to offer, including a post office, high street shops and marketplace. There’s also a garden centre neighbouring a cosy café and a couple of pubs and a few local takeaways and supermarkets.
Here, the ‘Nettleham’ is a three-bedroom house that benefits from an open-plan living/dining area, separate kitchen, cloakroom and built-in storage to the ground floor. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en suite and built-in wardrobes, a further two bedrooms and the family bathroom. A 50% share of this property costs from £89,500, which is based on a full market value from £179,000. This will require a £4,475 minimum deposit.
In Wragby, around eight miles south of Market Rasen and 12 miles east of Lincoln, is Hawthorn Fields. Residents here have easy access to supermarkets, country pubs, restaurants, and much more, with the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB only a few miles away too.
At this development, Home Reach is available on a semi-detached house called the ‘Tyrone’. The kitchen/dining room is at the front of the home, and lounge at the back has French doors to the garden. There’s a cloakroom under the stairs. Upstairs are the three bedrooms and a family bathroom. This house starts at £84,498 for a 50% share (full market price £168,995), which will require a minimum deposit from £4,225.
