The Lanthorn Building will be launching on Saturday 3 October, bringing 25 new one- and two-bedroom apartments to Fish Island Village in Hackney Wick, London E3.

The Lanthorn Building comprises 25 new one- and two-bedroom apartments which are well connected to the outdoors, with waterfront views of the canalside setting available along with access to a beautifully landscaped courtyard garden. Many apartments will also boast a winter garden, offering the perfect solution to bring the outdoors in, whilst residents on the ground floor will enjoy access to private outdoor space.

Finally, all residents will benefit from a communal rooftop garden which will have a seating area for relaxing with friends and family along with raised planters, some of which will be available for residents to grow their own produce. The new homes are perfect for first-time buyers looking for a low-maintenance home and versatile outdoor space.

Lanthorn BuildingDesigned by Haworth Tompkins, The Lanthorn Building has been created to complement the authentic character of the surrounding Fish Island architectural style and will have retail space on the ground floor.

Internally, every apartment benefits from modern, open-plan living. Contemporary and stylish kitchens feature in every home, including Bosch appliances, LED lighting to wall units and energy efficient appliances. Meanwhile, the bathrooms boast dark timber effect bath panels to add a touch of elegance whilst underfloor heating features throughout the living spaces.

For waterfront apartments available in Lanthorn Building, the Capitol Collection offers enhanced glamour and specification to residents. The homes there feature an enhanced specification including stylish herringbone Amtico wood-effect flooring to the entrance hall and kitchen/living areas. Feature lighting to the underside of bath panels and kitchen plinth is also available along with a fitted wardrobe to second bedrooms to complement the built-in storage in the principal bedroom.

Fish Island Village is a canalside neighbourhood, a joint venture between Hill and Peabody set in the heart of Hackney Wick. When completed, this newly created community will have 57,000 sq ft of commercial space mixed within the 580 modern apartments. 50,000 sq ft of the commercial space is also earmarked specifically for workspaces for creative start-up businesses.

Prices start from £445,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, and £610,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.
