Housebuilders Rated Five-Star In Latest Customer Survey
A host of housebuilders across the country are celebrating being given a maximum five-star rating with the release of the latest highly respected National New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey.
The 2023 survey from industry organisation the Home Builders Federation rates the companies according to the responses from over 60,000 buyers, across a range of questions about such things as the quality of the home, external and internal designs and finishes, the homebuying journey, the customer service they received and how things like snagging were dealt with after they moved in.
The five-star rating is awarded when over 90% of homeowners say they would recommend their new home to a friend.
A number of national and regional housebuilders have achieved this rating – for many, the latest in a long line of maximum ratings from this annual report.
Guy Higgins, managing director of William Davis Homes, said: “We’re proud and delighted to have again received such high praise from our customers. Winning this award for an eighth successive year is a fantastic achievement. It shows how our entire team has continued to achieve high standards and first-class service over the past year.”

Steven Boyes, chief operating officer at Barratt Developments, commented: “We put the customer at the heart of everything we do, and building high quality homes is fundamental to that. To have been rated as a five-star housebuilder by over 90% of our customers for 14 years in a row is something we work really hard to achieve. The best recommendation is one from a friend, so it’s great to know that so many of our customers recommend our homes.”
