Launch Of New ‘Green’ Development In Buckinghamshire

Posted 30 November 2021 by Keith Osborne

The doors are open at Hayfield Walk in Hanslope, with over half the homes there already purchased...

WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year Hayfield has opened the doors to its latest development, Hayfield Walk, located in the picturesque Buckinghamshire village of Hanslope.

Only 54 of the 101 homes are remaining, with the off-plan popularity of the scheme being attributed to Hayfield’s ‘Green Revolution’ technology, which is striking a chord with eco-aware homeowners.

Each home at Hayfield Walk will offer a greener way of living via air source heat pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, enhanced insulation, the smartest electric vehicle fast-charging points available and ultra-fast broadband.

Hayfield WalkA four-bedroom show home by Lifestyle Interiors has been styled to articulate the versatility of a Hayfield house design. Multiple spaces to work, unwind and entertain feature throughout. A taupe and black colour palette has been combined with rich, tactile textures and bespoke joinery to illustrate how a bold contemporary interior can bring a new dimension to semi-rural living.

Kelly Sharman, sales and marketing director for Housebuilder of the Year Hayfield said: “The design of this new development has taken inspiration from the Arts and Crafts properties within this picturesque Buckinghamshire village. The combination of our traditional architecture with a luxury, eco-efficient interior is what buyers are increasingly looking for.

“Due to the proximity of Milton Keynes and Northampton – and the quality of the schooling and local amenities – Hanslope is a very popular place to live. People are choosing to move here because they can get a better-quality home for their money. The show home has been designed to appeal to aspirational house-hunters at every rung of the property ladder who lust after an Instagram-worthy home.”

Hayfield WalkAccessed off Castlethorpe Road within the Borough of Milton Keynes, two-bedroom bungalows, and a range of three- and four-bedroom family homes are included in the current release. Five-bedroom executive homes will be included in future releases. The spacious development will also incorporate landscaped public open space, public footpaths and a children’s play area. It is within easy walking distance of the range of amenities within Hanslope’s historic village centre and the Ofsted ‘Outstanding’-rated Primary School.

A large interactive model of the new scheme is enabling interested parties to take a closer look at the site layout and various house designs. Prices for the current release range from £420,000 to £670,000. Hayfield’s exclusive £5,000 Key Worker Discount is offered to all those who meet the criteria.

Each Hayfield Walk kitchen will feature a range of built-in Bosch appliances, with larger homes enjoying impressive bi-fold doors leading out to the private garden. Each dedicated study or smallest bedroom will feature improved sound performance construction to create the ideal work from home environment. Fitted wardrobes will be installed into the principal bedrooms of all four and five-bedroom homes. Other features include ROCA/Laufen bathrooms, Minoli ceramic tiles, heritage bronze ironmongery, Farrow & Ball paint and Ring doorbells.

Hayfield WalkHayfield Walk is less than half-a-mile from Hanslope village centre and well-served by bus stops providing regular services to the neighbouring villages, Milton Keynes – located seven miles away, and Northampton – located 10 miles away. This part of Buckinghamshire is very popular with people moving to enjoy a more rural lifestyle, due to the proximity of train stations in Wolverton and Milton Keynes, which provide direct regular services to London Euston.

Hayfield is creating a new access road and footpaths to adoptable standards from Castlethorpe Road, and the development has been designed to seamlessly assimilate into the surrounding environment. The family houses and bungalows are being constructed with a high degree of consideration to the local vernacular, with features including brick detailing, traditional porches and quoining.

The Hayfield Walk show home is open seven days a week from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Find out more from Hayfield.
