EPC A-Rated Homes Launched In Oxfordshire

Posted 2 May 2023 by Keith Osborne

Hayfield has announced the off-plan launch of a brand new development in West Adderbury, called Hayfield Manor...

Hayfield, a former WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year, has launched a new development of highly energy-efficient brand new homes in West Adderbury, Oxfordshire.

Hayfield Manor, located on Berry Hill Road, features two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses and bungalows which also offer a greener, more sustainable lifestyle, with the inclusion of solar PV panels, air source heat pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, increased thermal insulation, electric vehicle charging points and 100% renewable energy.

The sustainable design principles and high specification mean homes achieve the ‘gold standard’ of energy-efficiency and will be awarded an EPC A-rating. Currently only 2% of new homes in the UK meet the EPC A-rated standards. The £20million development also exceeds the government’s Future Homes Standard – a level of specification that will be mandatory for housebuilders to meet from 2025.

The first release of homes at Hayfield Manor includes a range of two-bedroom bungalows and four- and five-bedroom houses, priced from £675,000 to £1.35million.

Sarah Sargeant, sales director for Hayfield, said: “This is an exciting moment for us, as Hayfield Manor represents one of our most prestigious developments yet and will set a milestone for high quality, high-specification housing in an area already well-sought after. There has been an unprecedented level of interest for this development since construction commenced early this year.

“Appointments are being made on a first come, first served basis, enabling buyers to choose their preferred home, while benefitting from pre-show home prices.”

Off-plan sales are being taken from a dedicated marketing suite at Bloxham Mill, Barford Broad, Bloxham, OX15 4FF, with a large model of Hayfield Manor, enabling interested parties to take a detailed look at the development layout, various house designs and the creation of a large expanse of new open space. Hayfield’s design for this new development is heavily influenced by traditional homes in the village, and the architectural style combines red brick, local stone, and contrasting dark roof tiles.
