Generator Group is launching the third phase of its Laureate Fields development in Old Felixstowe on the weekend of Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 February.

With prices starting from £180,000, Phase 3 comprises a collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as three- and four-bedroom houses, set against the backdrop of the Suffolk coast.

Each home benefits from contemporary designer kitchens with a full range of integrated appliances and intelligently designed living spaces. There are engineered oak floors to the ground floor hallway and open plan kitchen/dining area, brushed steel sockets and light switches, high-quality fixtures and fittings feature throughout, whilst contemporary bathrooms feature high-quality sanitaryware and bath and shower fittings.

Ellie Miners, sales & marketing manager at Generator Group, said: “Since the previous phase launched, we have won awards and watched a community grow. We’re extremely proud of what we’ve created. Buyers can see first-hand the quality of the homes and join an already thriving neighbourhood. We look forward to welcoming buyers to our launch and recommend that they get in touch early to avoid disappointment.”

Max Turner, sales manager at Savills Ipswich, added: “With new house types and stunning views over the area of outstanding natural beauty, we expect phase three to be even more popular than the earlier phases. Demand overall has been strong, and the East of England is the second best performing region in the UK according to latest Land Registry data. Buyers should enquire early to avoid disappointment.”

Laureate FieldsHelp to Buy is available for those making their first step onto the ladder. First-time buyers purchasing a new home up to £407,400 will see their 5% deposit supplemented by a 20% government equity loan that’s interest free for five years. This means they will only need a mortgage for 75% of the property’s value.

Laureate Fields is situated next to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that stretches north from the sea along the banks of the River Deben. From your door, you can enjoy picturesque country rambles or take a leisurely walk to Felixstowe Ferry, with its clapboard cottages, houseboats and ancient fishermen’s inn.

There is lots to see and do in Felixstowe from restaurants and pubs to leisure activities that make use of the seaside setting. Nearby is Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club, the only links golf course in Suffolk, while Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club offers casual and competitive sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Felixstowe’s Spa Pavilion has a year-round programme of shows including live music, children’s shows, festive panto and comedy. Felixstowe Pier has recently undergone an extensive reconstruction, offering a selection of traditional seaside entertainments including an arcade, slot machines, penny falls and retro mini-bowling alongside a stylish café and bar.

Famous beauty spots and heritage sites such as Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Orford and Dunwich and Southwold are also within easy reach, and there are good rail and road links to Ipswich, Colchester, Cambridge and London.
