Marketing Suite Opens At Successful Wimbledon Site

A brand new marketing suite has been unveiled by Galliard Homes at its Wimbledon Grounds development on Plough Lane...

Galliard Homes has launched a contemporary new 1,890-sq-ft sales and marketing suite at its development Wimbledon Grounds to accommodate for the witnessed increase in buyers looking to purchase London homes and to visit marketing suites in person.

Wimbledon Grounds is a 54,000-sq-ft mixed-use regeneration scheme adjoining the brand new and fully built stadium of AFC Wimbledon at the club’s original home on Plough Lane. The development comprises two buildings, Stadia One and Stadia Three, providing a mixture of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.

As offices, galleries, restaurants and the attractions of the capital have sprung back to life, the demand for London properties has risen, as well as a return to physically viewing properties rather than onlineviewing. During the pandemic, many people moved out of the city to more rural areas, however, at the start of 2022 the number of new buyers in London was 72% higher than the five-year average and the demand for homes in London increased by 27%, according to the English Housing Survey – particularly in suburban areas such as Wimbledon where outdoor green space is in abundance and the surrounding areas are more ‘urban village’ than fast-paced central city.

Wimbledon GroundsCombined with the local community built around the football stadium, the location and amenities for residents at Wimbledon Grounds, these measures help to ensure that the development is a destination for young buyers looking to find the perfect place to live in London, with a balanced lifestyle, as the city comes back to life.

The new marketing suite, located on Plough Lane in Stadia Three, showcases an impressive model of the completed development, with a small lounge area adjacent featuring a screen which shows footage of the homes and lifestyle amenities provided by Wimbledon Grounds. There are also six separate sales desks where potential buyers can meet with the sales team by appointment to have any questions answered as well as arrange to view a variety of furnished and unfurnished show apartments and the communal areas.

Residents can enjoy premier specifications as well as access to private external space in the form of either a balcony or roof terrace, whilst lifestyle facilities include an extensive hospitality suite within the adjacent stadium, retail facilities, plus a squash and fitness club. Two communal landscaped gardens feature at the development while a new public realm with a dedicated cycle route is also part of this exciting scheme.

Galliard Homes has a successful history of building mixed-use developments with a focus on helping first-time buyers and providing excellent public realm. Each fully furnished property at Wimbledon Grounds is affordable, spacious, and replete with contemporary interior design. High tech-appliances run throughout each property, and they all have open-plan living/dining spaces and designer kitchens as well as flooring in a mix of oak and carpet.

All appliances such as fridge/freezer and dishwasher are integrated and the walls left neutral in tone, ready for interpretation by their current or future owner. Each property benefits from access to an outside space, either a private balcony off the living room or access to one of the landscaped mid-level gardens.

Wimbledon GroundsWimbledon as a estination benefits from a loveable village-like feel as well as being one of the most well-connected places in London. Wimbledon Grounds is strategically positioned with access to the District and Northern lines, both within a 21-minute walk and Earlsfield station only an 18-minute walk away which takes you into Clapham Junction in only three minutes. Host to the annual Wimbledon Tennis Championship, the borough attracts visitors from across the globe and each year it truly comes to life in homage to this centuries old British event.

David Galman, sales director at Galliard Homes comments: “Wimbledon Grounds is one of our most exciting projects, and as the demand for London property increases, it is becoming a highly sought-after place to live due to its excellent location, lifestyle amenities and affordability. As the footfall of potential buyers at the development increases, we are pleased to open the doors to our new marketing suite where the friendly sales team are on-hand to answer questions and help in any way possible”.

The marketing suite is open from Monday to Saturday from 10.00am to 5.00pm, and Sundays from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Homes at Wimbledon Grounds are currently available for £329,000 for a studio, £455,000 for a one-bedroom apartment, £570,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, £695,000 for a three-bedroom apartment and £825,000 for a three-bedroom maisonette. The development benefits from the Help to Buy scheme for reservations until the end of October. Find out more at www.galliardhomes.com.
