On Saturday 19 August, Fairview New Homes is launching a Thames riverside development, Dock28, just a mile from the centre of Woolwich.

With guide prices starting from £275,000, the first selection of the development’s 216 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and three-bed duplexes to be placed on the market will be celebrated with a launch event from 10.00am to 4.00pm, where guests can enjoy tours of the show home, delicious canapes and a glass of fizz.

A number of the homes at Dock28 will be available through Deposit Unlock, which allows buyers to purchase with just a 5% deposit.

Spread across two buildings – Anchor Court with eight floors and Broadwater House with 12 – each apartment comes with its own private balcony, access to private communal podium gardens, and residents will benefit from a private rooftop terrace. These new homes are located just a stone’s throw from the River Thames.

Dock28’s Zone 4 location offers a variety of transport connections, with residents having easy access to the Elizabeth line and DLR from Woolwich station, where commuters can reach Canary Wharf in just eight minutes and Liverpool Street in 15; Bank can also be reached in 26 minutes, and London City Airport in just five. National Rail from Woolwich Arsenal station also gets commuters into Waterloo East in under half-an-hour, and Greenwich in less than 15 minutes, giving residents access to The O2 Arena & Greenwich Market.

The heart of Woolwich has much to offer locals and visitors alike. The tree-lined high street has a plethora of independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants for everyone to enjoy. Highlights include Vietnamese spot Bao Bun Bar, pastry pros Boulangerie Jade and Dial Arch, a restaurant with 18th-century décor sympathetic to the area’s history.

There is an abundance of green space surrounding the development, with Gallion’s Park and Lake St Nicholas just a nine-minute walk away, a great spot for sports and family picnics. Slightly further afield is Greenwich Park, which promises one of London’s best views of the city skyline.
