Elan Homes has announced the unveiling of developments in Wombourne and Southport at the end of January...

Elan Homes has confirmed that a range of new homes will be released for sale off-plan at the end of January at new sites in Wombourne and Southport.

In Staffordshire, Woottonbrook will be 32 new homes set across 2.59 acres on Giggetty Lane in Wombourne, close to the countryside, with a selection of independent shops in the village and easy access to Wolverhampton, which is just five miles away.

Elan regional sales director Tracey Ball said: “We’ve received a steady level of enquiries about Woottonbrook since we announced we’d acquired the site. In response to demand we’re releasing the first phase of homes off-plan via our nearby development, The Hyde in Kinver. The advantage of doing this is that buyers will be able to make an appointment to view the show homes there so that they can appreciate the quality and finish we offer across our developments. The sales team will also be able to guide them through the site and floor plans, helping match them with a home that best suits their needs.”

Adjacent to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, Woottonbrook will offer 22 private sale homes, ranging in size from one to four bedrooms, including two maisonettes specifically for those aged over 55. The development will also feature 10 affordable homes, half of which will be two-bedroom properties available for social rent. The remaining two- and three-bedroom homes will be available via Shared Ownership.

Balmoral Gardens will be released in the north of popular Southport in Lancashire, transforming a former factory site on Balmoral Drive, about four miles from the town centre, to provide 157 new homes including a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom properties with a large area of open space to be created within the development. Prices will be announced at the launch.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “Elan has a strong reputation across the Liverpool City Region having built in Mossley Hill, Aigburth, Formby, plus Thornton and Crosby. We’ve had a fantastic response to Balmoral Gardens with potential purchasers eager to know when the homes will be released for sale and when they will be able to move here. We’re keeping those who’ve registered their interest up to date and will inviting them to view the plans and speak with the sales team by appointment only from the end of January. We’d encourage anyone looking to move to a new home in the Southport area to get in touch so we can explain more about this exciting new development.”

Early buyers will have the chance to tailor their home in options such as the finish of their kitchen and the bathroom tiles. The properties will feature energy efficient heating systems, plus there will be an electric vehicle charging point for every home, helping residents lead more sustainable lifestyles.

A Guide To Part Buy Part Rent
Part Rent Part Buy is a scheme you can use with Home Reach where you buy a share of your chosen newly built home and pay a monthly rent on the part you don’t buy. Your budget will decide the size of the share you buy, rather than the size of your home. So, you might decide to buy a bigger share of a lower priced home or a smaller share of a more expensive home.

You are able to purchase your share in either cash savings or by taking out a mortgage. If you are taking out a mortgage to finance your share, you will need to allow for a minimum of 5% deposit. The larger your deposit (typically 10%) the lower your mortgage repayments are likely to be.
