Part Exchange Events At Lancashire Developments

Posted 3 October 2022 by Helen Christie

Elan Homes is hosting a special event at two Lancashire developments this weekend to explain the benefits of Part Exchange…

Exchanging your current property for an energy efficient new home in Lancashire could be made easier thanks to Elan Homes’ Part Exchange scheme.

The developer is hosting a special event at its Lancashire developments, Redwood Gardens and Wrea Green Meadows this weekend, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October, to guide homeowners through the benefits of Part Exchange.

These benefits include avoiding the worry of getting stuck in a long chain and being let down at the last minute and being able to stay in your current home until the new one is ready.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, says: “We understand that people who have an existing property to sell may be concerned about having to find a buyer and the possibility of getting caught up in a long chain or, worse, the disappointment of being let down at the last minute. That’s why we will consider taking a customer’s home in Part Exchange. It removes a lot of the uncertainty and makes the thought of new homes at Redwood Gardens and Wrea Green Meadows even more attractive than ever.”

Under Part Exchange, Elan effectively acts as a cash buyer for the customer’s home, and the builder even arranges the survey and pays the agent’s fees.

Marie adds: “Being able to stay in their old home until their new home is completed and ready to move into is something many of our buyers truly appreciate – and takes any remaining worries and hassles away.”

Designed to maximise efficiency and minimise waste, new homes are ideal for those who are conscious of their impact on the environment and who want to save on running costs too.

Marie says: “Customers today are much more aware of their energy consumption and it’s becoming an increasingly common conversation between them and the executives in our sales offices. Back in the spring, the HBF reported that it was 63% cheaper to heat a new home than it is an older property, so it’s beneficial whatever your concern. As energy costs rise, it’s not surprising that new-build homes are more appealing for that reason alone.”

Redwood Gardens in Marton Moss offers a selection of three- and four-bedroom properties. Located on Moss House Road, it enjoys a leafy setting with a choice of local shops and amenities, and the Fylde coast is only minutes away from the development by car, with the M55 and M6 accessible, placing Blackpool, Preston, and beyond, within easy reach. Both three- and four-bedroom homes are available with Part Exchange on styles including the Bay, priced from £259,995, and the Shore, from £349,995.

Wrea Green Meadows in Wrea Green is a collection of three-, four-, and five-bedroom homes, many available with the option of Part Exchange, including the three-bedroom semi-detached Fenton, from £284,995. The development is located within picturesque countryside, with the central village green space and other local amenities just a five-minute walk away,

The Part Exchange events take place at both Redwood Gardens and Wrea Green Meadows between 11am to 3pm on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October.
