Show Homes Open At Two Sites In Wales

Posted 16 November 2022 by Keith Osborne

Edenstone Homes and Lovell Homes have introduced professionally fitted homes to view in Cardiff and Newport...

Two housebuilders in Wales have announced the launch of brand new show homes, giving house-hunters a chance to see first-hand the quality of the new build homes for sale.

Beaufort Park in Lisvane is an Edenstone Homes development with four- and five-bedroom executive detached houses in the most prestigious Cardiff location.

Initially the properties were sold off-plan, and right now there’s even the potential for one lucky buyer to move in time for the festive season.

But buyers now also have the opportunity to view a five-bedroom ‘Blenheim’ show home, styled by Andrew Henry Interiors. Set across three floors, the ‘Blenheim’ is a generously proportioned home. It has a kitchen/family/dining area on the ground floor, plus separate lounge and study. On the first floor are four bedrooms, each with en suite and two with dressing areas. On the second floor is a further bedroom and bathroom, as well as an activity/family room and cinema room.

Edenstone sales director Adele McCoy said: “We wanted to create an aspirational home with a wow factor – which it definitely has – but also a home that demonstrates how the fabulous spaces could be used and how a family could live within this property.”

Interior designer Andrew Henry said: “People think blue is cold, but we have used the colour in varying shades from a lighter blue to navy with enough diversity in terms of the individual rooms to show how you can use those tones.”

Beaufort Park is situated in the village of Lisvane, one of Cardiff’s most desirable neighbourhoods, with Llanishen Reservoir, several parks and nature reserves as well as Cardiff Golf Club nearby. The city centre is just five miles away.

Among the homes currently available is Plot 22, a double-fronted, 2,787-sq-ft ‘Burghley’ house type, priced at £1.075million, which is ready to move into this side of Christmas. The sales office and ‘Blenheim’ show home at Beaufort Park are open by appointment only. Find out more at www.edenstonehomes.com.

Over in Newport, Lovell Homes has successfully launched its brand new show homes at its popular Royal Victoria Court development in Newport, which is bringing a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and one- and two-bedroom apartments to the site of the former Whiteheads steelworks, located off Cardiff Road.

The show houses are a three-bedroom ‘Lambourne’, a four-bedroom ‘Redbourne’ and a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-storey ‘Osbourne’, as well as a two-bedroom show apartment. Homebuyers can now book an appointment to meet with the sales team seven days of the week, visit Royal Victoria Court to look around the show homes, and find out more about the properties available to purchase, which are in high demand.

Julie Bowen, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “There really is something for everyone at Royal Victoria Court. Our ‘Lambourne’ show home is a contemporary and modern property, decorated with monochrome interiors. In contrast, the ‘Redbourne’ is a much more traditional family home, with softer décor in warm, copper tones, and our ‘Osbourne’ show home features a wonderful dog-themed children’s bedroom.

“The development has proven exceptionally popular and the homes are in incredibly high demand. We now only have one two-bedroom apartment available that’s ready to move into for Christmas!”

Situated just one mile away from the city centre, Royal Victoria Court offers the perks of city living, whilst only being a stone’s throw away from the impressive Victorian Belle Vue Park and a short drive from the beautiful Welsh countryside. An abundance of supermarkets, pubs, cafés, shops, cinemas and theatres, primary and secondary schools, a medical centre and Royal Gwent Hospital are all nearby, as well as the Friars Walk Shopping Centre.

Newport railway station is only a five-minute drive away, and Cardiff and Chepstow are both only a half-hour drive away. Bristol is just 30 miles away, offering an easy commute with excellent road, rail and bus transport links.

Royal Victoria Court is being delivered by Lovell in partnership with Tirion Homes and with support from Welsh Government. The development will consist of 528 properties, including 264 open market sale homes and 234 affordable homes for rent with Tirion Homes, alongside an additional 30 properties for low-cost homeownership through Melin Homes. Royal Victoria Court is now open seven days a week, 10.00am to 5.00pm. Find out more from Lovell Homes.
