Show Home To Be Unveiled In Grimsby
The first three-bedroom two-storey homes on a new development in a sought-after suburb of Grimsby will be released later this month as a third show home is unveiled in the latest stage of the scheme.
Fifteen new homes will be available to buyers at King’s Park in Scartho, next to the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Hospital, including two- and three-bedroom two-storey houses and bungalows.
King’s Park is being developed by E5 Group. The homes were designed by Cleethorpes-based Hodson Architects and are being built by Humberston firm, JemBuild.
On the open day on Saturday 25 March, potential buyers will be able to take private appointment-only guided tours of the ‘Keelby’, the first three-bedroom two-storey terraced homes to go on sale at King’s Park. They will also be able to view the two-bedroom ‘Thornton’ and ‘Searby’ and the three-bedroom ‘Owmby’ bungalows and meet the developer and a mortgage advisor. Buyers who reserve a new home between 25 March and 29 March will receive £500 towards the legal fees of their purchase.
King’s Park will eventually be home to 123 properties with retail units including a convenience store and other facilities such as a café, opticians and pharmacy planned.
The first-ever residents of King’s Park, Mick and Carolyn Sibson, said they chose their new home for its location, convenience and energy efficiency. The couple downsized to a ‘Howsham’, a detached two-bedroom bungalow with a garage, from their former three-bedroom family home near Grimsby.
Mick explained: “King’s Park ticked the boxes for us on so many levels. We knew from our previous home the benefits of living in a property with high energy efficiency and that was one of our reasons for choosing to live here. That has proved to be a lucky move as, despite the soaring costs of energy, our bills have remained low.
“We were also attracted by the location of King’s Park. We were looking to the future and if we can’t drive, there is a good bus service and so many amenities we didn’t have in our previous home within walking distance.”
E5 president Kevin Stevens said: “We are seeing many different types of buyers attracted to the homes at King’s Park including downsizers like Mick and Carolyn, families, and single people. They are attracted by the contemporary design, the quality of the build and the energy efficiency of these properties, which is reflected in their ‘B’ EPC rating as well as the location. These are stylish and easy to live in homes so we’re expecting a lot of interest in this new release.”
Properties at King’s Park start from £239,950. The open event runs from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Saturday 25 March and appointments must be booked through Crofts Estate Agents on 01472 200 666.
