Stamp Duty Paid Offer In Northamptonshire
David Wilson Homes is offering to pay Stamp Duty for homebuyers on a selection of plots at The Avenue in Overstone giving house-hunters a financial aid to help them move.
Whilst first-time buyers are exempt from paying this tax on properties up to £300,000, the incentive will help second-time buyers secure their dream home with one less cost to worry about.
The new offer comes after witnessing a rise in property seekers wanting to move now that homebuying restrictions have been lifted. Eight homes at The Avenue have sold within the last four weeks.
Jason Hearn, sales director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “With the rising demand for homes since buying restrictions have been eased, we want to give Northamptonshire house hunters a helping hand when making their move. Stamp Duty can often require people to save a large sum of money on top of their new house price and can sometimes be a barrier for second steppers looking to upsize their home.
“We hope that our incentive, which is available on selected homes, will assist post-lockdown home movers on the journey to securing their dream property with us.”
Situated on Park View, many of the homes have a study, making working from home a much easier task. Each property is designed with families in mind – meaning everyone can spend quality time together but also have their own space to relax in after a long day.
David Wilson Homes has a selection of three- and four-bedroom homes available to reserve at The Avenue from £271,495 to £529,995.
Home of the Week is Plot 22, ‘The Winstone’, a four-bedroom detached home priced £529,995. There’s a saving of over £37,300 on this home, with a top-of-the-range kitchen upgrade, granite worktop, flooring and Stamp Duty fees paid in full.
