Keith OsborneFor house-hunters in the East Midlands who are keen to feel the benefits of living in a brand new home, David Wilson Homes could help, with a number of different properties that are complete and ready to move into right now across the region.
The Nurseries is in Thrapston and is now down to just four homes remaining for sale. Prices start at £469,995 for the ‘Holden’, which is a show house that has been professionally fitted and comes with some £17,000 worth of upgrades throughout. It also comes with a two-year mortgage contribution offer and there’s the option for homeowners to use the Part Exchange Guarantee initiative. Three of its four bedrooms are comfortable doubles, one with en suite and the remainder sharing the family bathroom. Downstairs is a study, a lounge and the open-plan kitchen/dining/family room with utility room and glazed bay.
DWH at Overstone Gate, between Brixworth, Wellingborough and Northampton, has an impressive choice of three-, four- and five-bedroom new homes for sale to suit a range of price points, from £329,995 to £759,995. The ‘Kennett’ on Plot 4 is a three-storey house type with three double bedrooms (the top floor dedicated to the largest, with en suite) and a private driveway, and it currently comes with upgrades and a 5% Deposit Paid offer together worth some £25,000. The ‘Ashington’, from £409,995, is a four-bedroom/two-bathroom detached house with separate kitchen, lounge and dining rooms, and there’s a combination of upgrades and Stamp Duty contribution totalling over £29,000.
Thoresby Vale in Edwinstone, north-east of Mansfield, has two- to four-bedroom homes from £187,995, with some excellent offers. Ready to move into is Plot 219, the ‘Avondale’. Priced from £409,995, it comes with kitchen upgrades and flooring extras worth nearly £10,000, and it can be purchased via David Wilson Homes’ Part Exchange Guarantee scheme. Both the kitchen and the lounge have French doors to the garden, and there’s a dedicated study on the ground floor. All four bedrooms are generous doubles. It comes with detached single garage and three parking spaces.
The ‘Henley’ house type
DWH at Romans Quarter is part of a larger development taking shape a few miles east of Nottingham and presenting a range of executive four- and five-bedroom house types with starting prices between £479,995 to £679,995. Two of the larger homes are ready to move into. The ‘Henley’ on Plot 325 is a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home priced from £599,995. It comes with south-facing garden, double garage, a flooring package and upgraded kitchen, and qualifying buyers might get a contribution to their mortgage for their first two years here. Plot 375 is another five-bedroom house with double garage, the ‘Moreton’, but this one has substantial living space set across three floors, with the bonus of an extra room – the ‘den’ on the top floor – which could perform any number of roles. Buyers can ask about a mortgage contribution deal on this luxurious home too.
Hunters Place @ Fernwood Village is part of a growing community just a few miles south-east of Newark. The current three- and four-bedroom houses for sale here start at £264,995. There are a couple of ready-to-move-into’ properties. One is another example of the ‘Holden’ at £419,995 with upgrades and a ‘spend it your way’ financial offer; the other is the ‘Fairway’, from £269,995, a semi-detached three-bedroom, two-bathroom house with south-facing garden and its own upgrades and financial incentive.
