Keith OsborneDavid Wilson Homes – part of WhatHouse? Award-winning Barratt Developments – has just released a host of new plots for sale at its developments across Staffordshire.
Prices range from £225,000 to £490,000 for the properties currently for sale at Olive Park in Uttoxeter. The choice on this first phase includes two-, three- and four-bedroom options to suit a range of budgets and requirements. Among those released some time ago, and available to move into right now, is the three-storey, three-bedroom ‘Kennett’ at £330,000 but the latest to be brought to market is called the detached ‘Ashington’ and is priced from £385,000. Coming with single detached garage and private driveway, this corner home design has two sets of French doors to its southwest-facing garden – one from the lounge and another from the kitchen. There’s also a separate dining room and a cloakroom, while upstairs, three of the four-bedrooms are doubles, one with en suite.
Anson Gardens is in Fradley, around four miles north of Lichfield, and it has been selling fast, as 60% of homes already snapped up and buyers appreciating that some 50% of the development is dedicated to green open space. There are a number of four- and five-bedroom house types for sale. Prices currently start at £452,500 for the just-released ‘Hollinwood’, which is an attractive detached four-bedroom house with detached garage and private driveway. Off one side of the hallway is the dual-aspect lounge, on the other is the kitchen/dining room, which has a glazed bay and French doors to the garden. There’s a utility room, cloakroom and understairs storage too. All four bedrooms are comfortable doubles, and one has the bonus of an en suite shower room – the rest share the bathroom.

This double-fronted detached house, from £480,000, has a kitchen/dining/family room with glazed bay at the rear, and a lounge and a study at the front. The bathroom and four double bedroomns are on the top floor, with bedroom one coming with en suite. Alternatively, the ‘Holden’ at £500,000 is another new option to consider. It’s another four-bedroom/two-bathroom detached house with lounge, study, utility room and a kitchen/dining/family room with glazed bay to the garden. Outside are the garage and three private parking spaces.

One of the new releases is a perfect starter home, the ‘Wilford’, priced from £225,000 and having two double bedrooms, lounge/dining room and separate kitchen. It comes with private garden and two parking spaces. A larger home just launched is called the ‘Hertford’, which is set over three floors and is priced from £412,500.
