Final Three Homes Remaining at Bedfordshire Development

Posted 16 February 2024 by Keith Osborne

David Wilson Homes is nearly sold out at Marston Fields, but there are still opportunities to buy a brand new house there...

David Wilson Homes is encouraging property-seekers in Bedfordshire to act fast and secure their next move before the final three homes sell out at its popular Marston Fields development in Marston Moretaine.

Each of these brand new houses comes with the offer of 5% deposit paid. There are two examples of the three-bedroom ‘Archford’, priced from £349,995 including kitchen and flooring upgrades. There’s a kitchen/diner with French doors to a south-facing garden, a separate lounge, downstairs WC, upstairs bathroom and bedroom one has an en suite. There are two allocated parking spaces outside the front of the property.

Alternatively, there’s the detached four-bedroom ‘Hertford’ from £469,995. Its 1,364 sq ft of living space is spread over three floors: kitchen/dining room, utility room, cloakroom and living room on the ground floor; bathroom and two double bedrooms (one with en suite and dressing area) on the first floor; and two more bedrooms and a shower room on the top floor. This corner plot comes with parking for two vehicles and upgrades to flooring, kitchen and fitted wardrobes.

Marston Fields is in a semi-rural location only seven miles from Bedford and 12 miles from Milton Keynes, with families served by Ofsted-rated “Good” schools like Shelton Lower School and Wooton Upper School located closer to home.

Jason Hearn, sales director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands said: “We're really pleased to see how the community at Marston Fields has come together and we're excited to welcome new residents. For anyone looking to find out more, we would recommend visiting one of our sales advisers who will be able to provide a range of information on the different homes available at the development.”

Prospective buyers can also take advantage of a number of different schemes and offers tailored to suit them, including David Wilson Homes' Parent Power, in which the developer could match a buyer's deposit up to 5% of the purchase price. The scheme also sees parents or close family members act as mortgage guarantors or a joint loan applicant. This could enable first-time buyers to borrow more money, bringing larger properties within reach.
