Housebuilder’s Special Armed Forces Scheme On Rugby Homes

Posted 22 July 2022 by Keith Osborne

David Wilson Homes offers a substantial Armed Forces discount on brand new homes at Ashlawn Gardens...

David Wilson Homes East Midlands is offering members of the Armed Forces an exclusive deal to help them get onto the property ladder at its Ashlawn Gardens development.

To assist with the purchase of their home at Ashlawn Gardens, based off Ashlawn Road in Rugby, the developer is offering military personnel a 5% deposit contribution of up to £15,000 on the new properties available through its Armed Forces Deposit Contribution scheme. All UK Armed Forces personnel employed by the Army, Navy or RAF are eligible for the scheme, and anyone set to retire from the forces will be able to benefit for up to 12 months after they leave.

Rachael Harrison, sales director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said: “We are very proud to be working with Defence Discount Service to assist military personnel in buying a new home. We are hugely grateful for all that our servicemen and women do, and we hope that this gesture will act as a way of showing our gratitude towards them. We would like to encourage those eligible for the scheme to make the most of the support we have to offer.”

David Wilson Homes’ parent company, Barratt Developments – WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year 2019 – is a proud supporter of the Armed Forces and has a long-standing partnership with Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), supporting the charity in confronting the challenges of veteran homelessness. The partnership delivers new homes, mental health support and jobs for ex-Armed Forces personnel through the housebuilder’s transition programme.

Ashlawn Gardens has proven a popular development with Rugby homebuyers, and its prime location offers a number of independent boutiques, high street shops and eateries just a short drive away. There are excellent travel links to Leicester, Birmingham, and Milton Keynes, as well as trains to Warwick and London in less than an hour.

For families, there are a number of Ofsted-rated ‘Outstanding’ schools within catchment, and there are several destinations for days out such as Caldecott Park or Hillmorton Locks.

There is currently a section of three- and four bedroom properties available at the development with prices starting from £319,995. There will soon be a release of more three-, four- and five-bedroom homes for keen property seekers. Find out more from David Wilson Homes.
