Release Of Bungalows To Meet Demand In Dunblane

Posted 3 November 2023 by Keith Osborne

Despite being one of the least-built house types in the country, bungalows are continuing to be a much sought-after choice with recent research showing that an estimated 60% of over-65s are interested in moving to one.

To help meet demand, Dandara East Scotland has launched a selection of three-bedroom bungalows at Wallace View in Dunblane with prices from £424,995.

Bungalows offer a wealth of positives for homebuyers of all ages due to factors such as accessibility, privacy and energy-efficiency according to Tony Williamson, sales director at Dandara East Scotland. He said: “Due to the limitations of available land, to offer the most space for homebuyers the solution is usually to build up, rather than out. However, here at Dandara we understand that bungalows offer a unique opportunity for many homebuyers, not just downsizers but also first-time buyers.

“First-time buyers with young children are drawn to bungalows to avoid the hassle of stair gates, while downsizers, whose children have left the nest, are looking for open accessible space with a private garden that will offer them a secure dwelling to enjoy their later years. Additionally, bungalows are often easier and cheaper to heat, which is a welcome bonus for a homebuyer of any age!”

‘The Raasay’ is a detached three-bedroom bungalow with private driveway parking. With an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, there is plenty of space to bring the whole family together. Double French doors lead from the kitchen into the rear garden, while the utility room and storage provision means there's ample room for everyone’s belongings. The home features a spacious family bathroom and three double bedrooms, with bedroom one offering an en suite bathroom, built in wardrobe and dressing area.

These bungalows come with a variety of offers to help you settle into your new home, such as Dandara’s Moving Made Easy scheme and tailor-made incentive packages. Prices start at £424,995. Find out more.
