Website Visit Numbers Show Record Demand

Posted 18 January 2022 by Keith Osborne

Dandara saw record demand for homes in 2021 at its developments in Midlothian, East Lothian and Edinburgh...

East Scotland housebuilder Dandara has seen a record number of visits to its website on Boxing Day as further indication of record demand on its homes across the region.

With its current developments – listed here – providing a variety of house types, the company saw 55% more visits to the website on Sunday 26 December than on other days throughout the month, highlighting a continued demand from households to make a move.

Head of sales at Dandara East Scotland, Lisa Archibald, said: “[In 2021] we have already seen record-breaking demand for new homes sales and so we were surprised to see these figures rise again. Yet we have still seen further interest from homebuyers looking to make a move into one of our brand new homes. Enquiries suggest this is partly still from buyers from city centre locations looking for more space but also those seeing the benefits of a warmer and better insulated brand new home.”

Dandara East Scotland has a wide range of homes available for a 2022 move:

Ashgrove – on the edge of Edinburgh in the bustling suburb of Straiton, this collection of three-, four- and five-bedroom houses features contemporary open-plan living at its best, with a wide range of different property types and styles to suit the needs of every buyer.

Eskbank Gardens – conveniently placed for both Edinburgh and Dalkeith, this collection of two- to five-bedroom homes offers superb value, especially for families who will appreciate the play area and the good range of local schools.

Shawfair – south-east of Edinburgh, surrounded by woodlands, eight miles of cycle paths and landscaped green spaces, the first phase of Shawfair is almost completely sold – but don’t worry, there are more superb two-, three- and four-bedroom homes coming soon.

Foxhall Gait – situated to the west of the capital, it’s a collection of modern two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes suited to those who want to experience the countryside whilst still being close to the city. Nearby there are plenty of schooling options, such as Kirkliston Primary and Queensferry High School, making it the perfect location for families.
