Limited-Time Offers At Eskbank Development

Dandara East Scotland has a some limited-time offers on the available new homes at its Eskbank Gardens development in Eskbank, near Dalkeith in Midlothian.

The housebuilder is currently constructing a new collection of 64 two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, following the success of the earlier phases of the development in the town, and has introduced the offers to appeal to a wide range of buyers.

New homes for sale with LBTT paid

Dandara will pay the Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT) on the following:

  • The three-bedroom ‘Jura V1’ on Plot 223, a double-fronted, semi-detached house boasting a large open-plan kitchen/dining room and utility, priced at £319,995.
  • The four-bedroom ‘Rum’ on Plot 242, with en suite and fitted wardrobes to bedroom one, kitchen upgrade and detached garage. Priced at £431,995, the LBTT offer will save the buyer almost £16,550.
  • The four-bedroom ‘Canna V1’ on Plot 241, a four-double-bedroom/three-bathroom detached house with dedicated study, upgrade to the open-plan kitchen/dining/family room and a single garage with private driveway, priced at £449,995.

New homes for sale through Golden Share

Also available at the development are a selection of properties available to buy using the Golden Share scheme offered by Midlothian Council. This allows local people to purchase a home at 80% of the open market value, subject to criteria, and can be used when buying the following:

  • The two-bedroom/one-bedroom ‘Lewis’ on Plot 227, with a Golden Share price of £192,000
  • The three-bedroom, semi-detached ‘Mull’ on Plot 226, with a Golden Share price of £224,000

This development is under two miles from Dalkeith town centre and its shops, amenities, restaurants, and the green open space of King’s Park and Dalkeith Country Park. Eskbank railway station is just under a mile away from Eskbank Gardens and offers direct services to Edinburgh Waverley in as little as 20 minutes. The nearby Edinburgh City Bypass allows for journeys via the A1, A7 and A68 for travel further afield.

There’s a five-bedroom ‘Canna’ show home at this site which is open to house-hunters from Thursday to Monday.
