Ideal First-Time Buyer Home At Kirkliston Development

Posted 16 November 2023 by Helen Christie

Dandara has unveiled an ideal first-time buyer home and incentive package at its Foxhall Gait development in Kirkliston…

Dandara has unveiled the ultimate first-time buyer package at Foxhall Gait in Kirkliston, designed to make moving to a new home as easy and stress free as possible.

For a limited time, the two-bedroom terraced Lewis comes with a trio of incentives – £500 per month mortgage contribution, plus a full furniture package and flooring throughout included in the price of £239,995.

The Lewis from the WhatHouse? Award-winning developer is an ideal starter home. It features a contemporary dual-aspect, open-plan kitchen/dining/living area with French doors leading to the rear garden, as well as a cloakroom, with storage under the stairs. Upstairs there are two generous double bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Tony Williamson, head of sales at Dandara East Scotland, says: “The Lewis is perfect for first time buyers, particularly those who have furnished rental homes or are leaving the family home for the first time. Everything is ready for buyers to move in - the beds, sofa and dining room table and chairs are all included in the price, along with flooring and carpets. Buyers won’t have to spend ages waiting for items to arrive and the upfront costs of setting up home will be significantly reduced. Help with the mortgage also frees up money for all the fun things – like rugs, accessories and linens for the new property. We think the offer might also be popular with investors, as all the hard work of preparing a home for tenants will have been done for them already.”

Dandara is offering a 5% deposit contribution on a number of homes at Foxhall Gait including Home 56, the Lewis, which costs £239,995, the three-bedroom Lismore, priced at £275,995, the four-bedroom Islay mid-terraced townhouse which starts from £309,995 and the Iona, a four-bedroom detached home with garage, priced from £389,995.

Also with 5% deposit contribution are the four bedroom Rum from £424,995 and a five-bedroom Canna from £449,995.

All of the homes at Foxhall Gait offer open-plan living, contemporary kitchens and stylish bathrooms, and some have en-suites. Each home also comes with a private garden, and photovoltaic panels, offering renewable energy.

There are plenty of local amenities including a newsagent, post office and leisure centre available to residents, all a short walk from Foxhill Gait. An appealing option for families, the area is also in the catchment for Kirkliston Nursery, Kirkliston Primary School and Queensferry High School. Conifox Adventure Park is also close by.

The Lewis view home is available to visit Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
