Housebuilder Unveils New Somerset Show House

Posted 8 June 2021 by Keith Osborne

House-hunters can now investigate a new show home at Crest Nicholson's Langford Fields in Langford...

Crest Nicholson has opened its new three-bedroom show home at Langford Fields in north Somerset to complement the traditional collection of three- and four-bedroom homes already available there.

The semi-detached ‘Elsenham’ show home boasts a traditional layout with an open-plan kitchen/dining room and a separate spacious living room where large double doors lead to the garden. All three bedrooms are located upstairs, with a fitted wardrobe and en suite bathroom in the master room. The home has been thoughtfully decorated throughout to make the most of the design and maximise natural light, while the specification is high quality, with fitted kitchens and integrated appliances.

Langford FieldsRalph Hawkins, managing director at Crest Nicholson South West, said: “The new show home at Langford Fields offers prospective buyers the opportunity to really picture themselves living at the development. Langford Fields is a beautiful community with easy commuter links to Bristol, offering residents the perfect blend of country living and convenient access to amenities. We’ve designed this new show home with modern living in mind, using flexible living spaces to demonstrate how the home could work for different types of buyers – from first-time buyers to families and downsizers alike.”

Langford FieldsSituated close to the Mendip Hills, many homes at Langford Fields enjoy a rural outlook, while the development offers plenty of open space and play areas. In addition, residents can make the most of the incredible scenic walks and cycling nearby, including Cheddar Gorge and Blagdon Lakes.

The established village of Langford offers residents easy access to amenities such as a 24-hour supermarket, a country pub and the Langford Day Nursery and Pre-school, while a local centre offers great amenities, including a butcher, a bakery and a post office. The development also has great commuter links by car and train with Bristol Airport, thanks to easy access to the M5 and with Yatton train station just 20 minutes away by car.

The three bedroom ‘Elsenham’ is available from £327,000, while prices for four-bedroom homes at Langford Fields start from £420,000. The government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme and Part Exchange are available on selected properties.
