Imminent Launch Of Latest Wavendon Scheme

Posted 16 December 2021 by Keith Osborne

Crest Nicholson will soon be unveiling 105 new homes next to its existing successful Morton Park development...

Crest Nicholson is preparing to launch a contemporary mix of 105 two- to five-bedroom houses at Manor View, its new development in Buckinghamshire.

Situated on the edge of the village of Wavendon, and a stone’s throw away from Milton Keynes, Manor View is an extension of neighbouring Crest Nicholson development Morton Park, where residents will be able to be part of the established, thriving community in the area from Spring 2022.

The range of eight available house types at the development will all feature flexible layouts and appeal to first-time buyers, growing families and downsizers alike. The government backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan initiative and Crest Nicholson’s Part Exchange and Deposit Unlock schemes will be available on selected plots to help home-hunters secure their dream home.

Once complete, Manor View will include a Central Focal Space at the heart of the development, providing formal seating areas enclosed by plants and trees, an open space for ball sports, and a play area for children. The development will be beautifully landscaped with trees and shrubs planted throughout, tying in with existing woodland. Pedestrian and cycle routes will be created throughout the development and will link to neighbouring areas.

David Brown, managing director at Crest Nicholson Chiltern, commented: “We are excited to launch our new development, Manor View, which is set to be a modern, thriving development popular with a range of prospective buyers. Thanks to the development’s prime position, located on the edge Wavendon yet just 10 minutes from Milton Keynes, Manor View offers the perfect balance between a cosmopolitan and a countryside lifestyle. Given Morton Park’s popularity, and with Manor View being in such a sought-after area, we expect interest to be high, so we advise anyone interested to get in contact with us to register their interest as soon as possible.”

Residents will be able to make the most of a number of local facilities including a pub, church, local music venue and large Tesco. Manor View is also ideally located for leisure activities – from golf at nearby Wavendon Golf Centre to the Snowdome at Milton Keynes.

Families are well catered for with a number of schools and nurseries within easy reach, including Little Oaks Community Nursery and Wavendon Gate School, both in Wavendon. Walton High, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted is also close by, and brand new Glebe Farm School is being developed in the parish of Wavendon, expecting to welcome its first pupils from September 2022.

Milton Keynes train station is located just 12 minutes away by car, offering direct travel to London Euston in just 35 minutes. For those travelling by car, the M1 and A142 are also easily accessible from the development, making it an ideal location for commuters.
