Mortgage Advice Clinic At Swindon Development This Weekend
Developer City & Country – a winner of many prestigious WhatHouse? Awards in recent years – is hosting a prospective buyer’s mortgage clinic at its Burderop Park development in Chiseldon, Swindon, on Saturday 15 July.
Taking place between 10.00am and 5.00pm, in partnership with mortgage broker The Mortgage Brain, this helpful event will offer hopeful buyers the opportunity to speak to mortgage experts for advice and support about purchasing a home.
The Burderop Park sales team will also be on hand to provide practical information about the latest phase of new two, three and four/five-bedroom homes now available at Burderop Park, some of which will be ready to move into this summer.
Jennifer Rhodes-Finch, head of marketing at City & Country, commented: “The purchase of a new home can be one of the biggest investments anyone is likely to make, and therefore we want to offer potential buyers as much support and advice as possible. It’s crucial that they have the best understanding of the current market situation and what’s on offer, such as the government initiatives available to buyers of new build properties, including Deposit Unlock which only requires a 5% deposit.
“Select homes at Burderop Park are also available with tailored incentives including a stamp duty contribution of up to £10,000. I believe many may be surprised to find out what is available to them and that the process of buying a new home might be simpler than they anticipate.

“Purchasing a new home presents numerous benefits for buyers, one of which is the opportunity to obtain a mortgage. Buying new means that buyers purchase directly from us, without the hassle of navigating the open market or dealing with property chains - alleviating some of the stress typically associated with buying and selling property.
“We’d like to invite those interested in mortgage advice to book their phone appointment with The Mortgage Brain in advance via our sales executives at Burderop Park, or just come along on the day and we can fit you in.”
Felicity Barnett, national account manager at The Mortgage Brain said: “Despite current headlines there are hundreds of mortgage products available, so it really is important that buyers talk to us as new build specialists. We are thrilled to be partnering with City & Country to provide guidance on financial planning and mortgages, and welcome attendees to book a private phone appointment with our mortgage advisers.”
Burderop Park is located within a picturesque countryside setting, on the fringes of the Marlborough Downs. Situated on an historic country estate, this development comprises just 58 new homes, ranging from two to four/five bedrooms. Individually designed by in-house specialists, these homes boast a specification with a variety of luxury finishes throughout, including integrated appliances, Silestone worktops and polished chrome brassware.
Just a short drive away is the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as Britain’s oldest road, The Ridgeway, which forms part of the National Trail for walking, providing fantastic opportunities for residents to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Prices currently start from £325,000 for a two-bedroom mid-terraced home, with some homes available to move into this summer and a range of incentives available to support buyers. Find out more about Burderop Park from City & Country.
